It was a fantastic win!
How are you feeling about the draw, Tracey? Hitzelsberger actually played all 90 mins in yesterday's gaöe but they lost pretty bad still. =S CL quali this week. I'm optimistic that we'll march through but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Arsenal. __________________

Not good Kerstin, 2 points dropped, our bloody left back again was the reason for the goal , should get rid of him!

Arsenal should sign Podolski. He's still quite amazing but needs to leave Köln asap...and I don't want him to go to Galatasaray.
Who's the left back? __________________

Oh lord, tough game today against an opponent we've lost against too many times and now, NOW, Phillip Lahm publishes a book that causes a lot of trouble. Unneccesary!

Thanks for posting the draws. It must have taken ages to do all the colours
I think Man City have an interesting CL group, whilst they may be able to get through to the next stage I think they will struggle to win their group which could leave them open to playing the likes of Barcelona etc provided there are no major shocks. Another draw: CARLING CUP THIRD ROUND DRAW: Cardiff City v Leicester City Wolves v Millwall Chelsea v Fulham Aldershot Town or Carlisle United v Rochdale Arsenal v Shrewsbury Town Burnley v MK Dons Leeds United v Manchester United Brighton v Liverpool Nottingham Forest v Newcastle United Manchester City v Birmingham City Blackburn Rovers v Leyton Orient or Bristol Rovers Swindon Town or Southampton v Charlton or Preston North End Everton v West Brom Crystal Palace or Wigan v Middlesbrough Aston Villa v Bolton Wanderers Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur Ties to be played in the week commencing 19 September There was a time when I was desperate for Newcastle to get rid of Joey Barton, it's strange how I'm sad to see him go now. He wasn't perfect by any means but he did want to play for us, he gave everything he had and helped us grind out a number of results. I think the club have treated him very badly, maybe they thought his wages were too high seeing as he signed before the current owners arrived but I honestly believe he would have taken a pay cut if he was offered a new deal. People may not like him as a person but the last two years he's given the club a lot and to not even enter talks about a new contract is ridiculous. I'm still asking the question. When are we going to see the £35 million we got from Carroll's sale? Either we are spending big in the last few days of the window or it was another lie. The fact is that we need that money to be spend though, we are still without a decent striker, we've let two key midfield players go for virtually nothing, we've lost Enrique. I don't feel we've replaced any of them. Is it any wonder that we don't have confidence in our owner and chairman when they simply refuse to listen to the fans. __________________
