Football (Soccer) #107: Much ado about football...

Okay guys, come and post you football thoughts here

So, it's likely probable that Del Neri would be the one to replace Voeller at Roma

Thanks for the new thread.

Is anyone up for an MSN-convo for the games tomorrow (Rotherham v Crewe, Real v Roma and Juve v Maccabi Tel Aviv, amongst others)?

It wasn't pretty visiting the Udinese website seeing a pic of the goalkeeper laying flat on the ground *sigh*

Chelsea vs Porto on Thursday *woohoo* go Chelsea

Can I just say I've fallen in love with Mouhrino *swoon*

I've discovered between Lampard, Ferriera, Duff and now their manager it's becoming a major swoonworthy club again!

Hey T, Dan, Dave, gossipcom and everybody else

I'll try to stay up for the matches tonight. Hope I won't get too sleepy in the office tomorrow

Well, well, second CL games here, and still no Juve live (or delayed, for that matter)

Same here with Real . No match today and they're showing Chelsea tomorrow

Still haven't installed MSN, but I'll do it before the match - have to finish watching a few shows first

Erh, I couldn't get that old account of mine to work for some reason, so I opened a new one - teelle@hotmail.com . I'll be on soonish, so if someone from the usual crowd could add me?

Real vs Roma:

Real Madrid: Casillas; Salgado, Roberto Carlos, Walter Samuel, Helguera; Beckham o Guti, Celades; Figo, Zidane, Raúl; Ronaldo.

Roma: Pelizzoli; Panucci, Dellas, Ferrari o Sartor, Cufré; Mancini, Dacourt, De Rossi, Perrotta; Totti, Cassano o Mido.

Árbitro: Valentin Ivanov (RUS).
Estadio: Santiago Bernabéu.
Hora: 20:45.

You know, I wonder what kind of reception Samuel will get in the Roma - Real match later on..

Wee!!

That's pretty much all I wanted to say . Didn't even buy the papers today as I'm sticking with the Spanish ones on the net - they strangely have more interesting things to say as far as I'm concerned .

Just so T doesn't attack me with poor defensless fish ( ), I figured I'd bring you the text and audio recap of Crewe's 3-2 win against Rotherham last night, as well as the thing T's awaiting - Dario's post-match interview.

Also, Rosenborg's down 1-0 to Arsenal at HT.

What a comeback by Real! I was only able to watch parts of the game (my friends kept switching channels, darn them), but it's good to see Raul getting somewhat back into form..hopefully that continues. Good job Real

Now Roma... bottom of the group with no points...

Rooney and Man U - well, what a debut, eh? Granted, it was against Fenerbache, who aren't exactly all that good themselves, but very encouraging for Man U...

As for my Gooners, we drew 1-1 with Rosenborg. Been a bit lacklustre in Europe so far (I see we still haven't really been able to carry our EPL form into the CL), but we're top of the group, so can't complain too much.

Chelsea... IMHO, they have the best chance in Europe of the 4 English clubs. They have depth, their defense is ROCK SOLID, and while they have had recent problems scoring in the EPL, they've had no such trouble finding the net in Europe... Gah, I hate Chelsea.

Thank you very much for the links

At least Rosenborg got an equalizer

Hee and guh and some more expletives - meaning I finally saw the Real goals . Not on tv which I'm fine with. Video clips are easier to watch again and again
