A concussion couldn’t stop Kurt Warner’s hot streak.

Halted in the middle of his best play of the season when the quarterback suffered a head injury in St. Louis, Warner came back after six quarters off and was spectacular on “Sunday Night Football,” leading the Cards to a 30-17 win over previously 10-1 Minnesota.

Bring on week 2 indeed. I didn't do THAT bad, but yeah, my points were FAR less than they should have been.

Tell me about it! Yahoo had my point total projected at 113.49. I currently have 52.70. The only player who has yet to play for me is a kicker. So my total will probably be around 60 for Week 1.

i always check the projections but i dont usually base my strategy on it. generally if you rely too much on these numbers youre going to make a bad choice. that said, i was projected to win and things are lookin good so far.

Just a question, why doesn't Yahoo let me add or drop any players after the games are done? I keep getting this error: "A player has already played and is no longer editable for today. (Error #174)". But I noticed BB was able to add a player, so what's up? What's the trick?
It's because of the transaction deadline.

"The deadline to complete all transactions (trades, waiver claims, and free agent claims) for a given week is 11:59 p.m. PT every Sunday."

And a transaction is now allowed, if the player you want to involve in a transaction is in you starting lineup - the deadline is five minutes before game start. That's probably what you experienced

Anyway, it's pretty frustrating to score the second/third most points and still lose I still have a chance though - just need E.J. Henderson to go crazy tonight

Thanks for nothing, Joseph Addai. I should have started the other running back in that game...

Have you guys checked the scores? Pineapple Express is kicking ass. That makes me a little worried about playing them.

it is but from a Pats perspective I think they can still manage to win the division with Cassel under center. In fact he might be a decent FA pickup when you consider all the talent they have at WR. My other fantasy team took a HUGE hit obviously, but I was able to add Matt Ryan & Trent Edwards. So I have those 2 plus Bulger & Derek Anderson. I might be able to get by as long as I can avoid any more injuries. *crosses fingers*

Well looks like I'm in the market for some QBs.

BB, thanks for the explanation. Although, it's still kinda confusing. I think I'll just wait until Monday morning to make any moves.

I know what you mean. I would have been better off starting my two rookie RBs, Chris Johnson and Tim Hightower, over Steven Jackson and Ricky Williams (I benched Jamal Lewis since he was listed as questionable).

You know something, we should think about adding a flex position in next year's league. Sometimes you have all this talent and it's just wasting away on the bench all season. I'm sure everyone would love to use an extra guy off their bench.

Didn't you just pick up Eli from the waiver wire? Already trying to dump him, eh?
