The only "home" teams i liked were NY Mets, Buffalo Bandits, Sryacuse Orangepeople and well the AAA team had some alright players come through, Moises Alou, Barry Bonds, Bobby Bonilla, Richie Sexton, though ya can't really be a fan of minor league baseball.

I have been living in New Jersey all my life, and there are no teams here that I like, although I watch the Nets on occasion. But I am, by no means, a huge fan of the team.

New York isn't my home, but I am a huge Syracuse fan.

Hockey

I did used to hate Mark Messier mainly coz I just did now he's cool but he ain't my fave player of the NYRangers. I have a hate for the NY Islanders also.

Football

Packers I dislike yet Brett Favre a great player for that team, without him they would have sucked even more. Miami Dolphins are a team I really can't stand yet I have love for one of there players - Dan Marino back in the day him and Mark Clayton. I have no love for the 49ers either but Steve Young had talent.

Maybe its just me but I don't see Kobe as Mike if I did I would dislike Kobe as much as I dislike Jordan and I don't.


I think a big factor in the comparisons is that Phil says that Kobe's competitiveness reminds him of Jordan etc. I mean Kobe and MJ are a lot alike in some ways isn't it possible that they're similar by chance? I mean Kobe came into the league during Jordan's last three peat. While LeBron came after Jordan left.


Ergo LeBron is way more hyped up than Kobe was because he doesn't have MJ's shadow etc after all when a rookie comes into the league they are always asked can they play against so and so and how will they do etc.


To me LeBron reminds me more of Magic Johnson because of his unselfishness on the basketball court not to mention I don't buy that a 19 year old can have that body. Its possible but still I need references.
