| The England game yesterday showed us just exactly why we still need Beckham in the sqaud. He didn't start and he only played about 15 minutes of the game but in that time he made some brilliant crosses that got us 2 goals and he also made some other fantastic passes. I know he can't play the full game anymore and Wallcott is much better than him now but if he can do this every game for us then Beckham can help take this team far. __________________ big lights will inspire you | |||

| I'm so happy he's going to AC Milan on loan. The longer his England career can go on the better. He may no longer start but I agree Sara, he is just such a good squad player, the quality he brings is just incredible. He is a match winner, give him a free kick and he will deliver a perfect cross into the box. I can't wait to see him play for AC Milan, now I'm definitely going to have to try and watch some of their matches  | |||

| Thanks for those links. I agree, they really do have a lovely family. Where are you from then? Near the end of season now so once that's over I guess he'll be back off to America to play for LA Galaxy again. | |||

|  I love how even though he was heavily booed when he played for LA Galaxy he went on to play a huge part in both of the two goals they scored. And now some eye candy:   So perfect  He needs to stop with all the tattoos though. It's getting too much. | |||

| I still think it was huge mistake of him going to LA Galaxy. I really like him and it's not nice to see the supporters booing him all the time. And of course, he goes to them. Hot temper. My theory says it is all Steve McClaren's fault. I mean, if he was still playing for England during the time he decided to play in US... certainly his decision would have been a different one. He could leave RM, but still would be playing in Europe. | Oh I totally blame McLaren. Playing for England meant everything to Beckham and being told his England career was over obviously gave him the push that led him to go to LA Galaxy. It's all very weird tbh as I get that players weren't performing but he cut Beckham one of the few who gave his all for his country and actually wore the shirt with pride. There were others that had played far worse *cough*Lampard*cough*. But that just sums up McLaren really, one mistake after another. He started badly and it just got worse. Fingers crossed he will remain in the England team and he makes it to the World Cup next year, even if it's more as a squad member and sub that a first teamer. | |||
