Have you guys heard about Tom Cruise wanting to buy LA Galaxy? I think it'd be so weird for Tom Cruise to be Beckham's boss.

And also... just because I think this is hilarious, not to mention adorable.

I really hope Tom Cruise doesnt buy the team, I really dont like him plus I agree that would be weird him being becks' boss.

Tom Cruise being Beckhan's boss would weird me out to no end. Is anyone going to be going to any of David's games once he hits the US?

I just got my tickets for his game against the Red Bulls in August

gah you are so lucky. If I wanted to see him I would have to fly like 6 hours to Toronto which I unfortuantly dont see it happening

I love Becks, but the closest place he is playing for me is Toronto. Unfortunately I live in Manitoba so that isn't happening.

I've to admit, I'm glad that he's in the US now. Europe needed a break from him and I say that as a former fan of him. I still like him but he became too much a showman for me in the last years and I can't stay him together with Posh.

I think his career in the English national team will be over soon. The american league is just too bad to hold up his soccer ability.

Footballing reasons is exactly why I did NOT want him to move Stateside as I believe he still has so much to offer to the European game. I mean, look what he did for RM when he got to play regularly and not to mention when he got called back in to the English team. As long as he keeps fit, I still believe he can be in the English team

Also, as excited as I am that Beckham is in the US (because now I can see him play on something that isn't the internet or my TV screen) but it's definitely not going to do anything for his skills.

I mean, I'm going to see him play the Red Bulls in August and well... my HS soccer team could probably kick the Red Bulls ass. The MLS has a handful of really great players but the rest... not so much.
