| Danica Patrick Appreciation #1: Cuz she's the first lady to lead a lap at the Indy500 Can't believe there's not a thread for this lovely lady. So this is my first time on the Sports board. I'm not a sports fan by any means but I did follow the Indy 500 on Sunday...... It might have been the hype or that I was trying to procastinate on my semester project......... But whatever....... | We also can't forget that Danica has the best finish for a woman.  This year's Indy 500 was incredible. I never watch open wheel racing, but I tuned in to watch the Indy 500 on Sunday because of her. She did an absolutely amazing job. She stalled in the pit, sliding her back to 16th, but then she gradually made it to the top ten, where she accidentally caused a multi-car crash  , but pushed on through to lead for 19 laps, I believe. I was on the edge of my seat hoping she would win. She's still young, though, she'll definitely win one. And weight advantage or not, she still knows how to control that car.  She's right where she belongs, kicking ass.All I can say is that she is so fantastic. I can't wait to see more of her. -Jay- ETA: Thanks for starting this thread. | |||

| Thanks, NikNak and you know me from the Spoilers board. I used to be Hard-Core GG Fan.
