What are your thoughts?

The pitch has been a lot harder to bat on than it normally is, but I think despite that most of the batsman have had the wrong gameplan to deal with bowlers though. Also think the Aussies should drop Shaun Marsh and bring in another opener so they can move Finch down the order.

Who would you bring in for Marsh? I thought he might be worth sticking with...

Not sure actually, my worry that is JL will just wait until Bancroft's ban is over and bring him straight back in.

Yeah, I wasn't really sure that they'd be that bothered about Bancroft really, but they've struggled a lot with their batting lately so I think they will bring him back into the side quickly. It would be hard to guess whether he'd be in good form or not though.

Which I find annoying since he was doing pretty average at test level before the ban anyways

Always thought it was an mistake to drop Renshaw for him, especially since he outplayed Warner in Aussie tours to India and Bangladesh before the Ashes.

He's quite young too, isn't he? Surely he's the type of play that you want to invest in long term.

Renshaw is 22, so he was definitely one of those players. Plus it wasn't like he looked terrible at test level, so his dropping in the Ashes made no sense to me.
