| I think I know which commercial you are talking about, but I can't help you with the lyrics. Have you checked out Converse's official site? They might have a link to the commercial. If you remember any of the song's lyrics, you might want to enter them into a search engine like "Google" and see what comes up. Sorry that I can't help you more. | Yeah, i tried www.converse.com , but I didnt find anything, maybe someone else could. Some of the lyrics go, before dr was spelled with a J..... after the set shot but before the dunk, after the groove, but before the funk..... before old school, before new school, before school had a name... thats all i can remember, its really cool. | |||

| Let us not forget a much earlier Converse rap commercial. I can't remember all of it, but here are some parts: EARVIN JOHNSON: The Converse weapon, That's the shoe, It lets Magic do What he was born to do. LARRY BIRD: You already know What it done for me. I walked away With the MVP. It featured several other starts whom I can't recall. Bird and Johnson did a few other commercials for Converse. "Okay, Magic, show me what you've got." I remember it was the only time I ever bought any clothing because of a commercial. I still have my Magics, but they are badly worn. These were the days. About 90% of all basketball fans were either Laker fans or Celtic fans. Chris | |||

| This is a pretty catchy commercial. Won't catch my buying converse stuff though, still. __________________ Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to prosper. -Benjamin Franklin You miss 100% of the shots you don't take -Wayne Gretzky | |||
