Just no true national title contenders. Michigan and OSU screwed that up. Well, my teams pretty much suck this year. There’s nothing to talk about. So, let me just say: YAY!!! Go NIU! | So, for Arguments sake, teams get knocked off,... They get to #2, we'd be #1 and we lose the season finale to Pitt and the BIG 12 champ endds up being the lower seeded of the teams. NIU is #1 in the land,... but do not get #1 or #2 in the BCS, they blow out some chunky power conference team, lets say Florida St or LSU, while the NCG is a tight 22-21 game. Anyone be pissed? | Moderator Support Team   | I like NIU. I do. I hope they keep going and finish undefeated. I wish they could be in a BCS game. They won't, but it would be cool. The BCS bowl's are too much of a money maker for the member schools to give up their stranglehold on them. Besides, why would the any of the bowls want a MAC team that would bring 5000-6000 fans, when they could have even a 'BCS' school that would easily bring 20,000-30,000 fans to the game? That choice is a real no brainer. P.S. OU will destroy Miami in the Sugar Bowl, if the 'Canes can squeak by Virginia Tech... And considering how up and down this season has been for NU, this was a grrrrreat victory. I’ll take it. NIU lost. I can’t say that I’m surprised. Bowling Green is a good team. They knocked off Purdue earlier this year. It’s kind of disappointing, though. I was hoping the Huskies would be able to run the table. | Colorado could've won Saturday against Oklahoma if they're defense didn't suck so bad. Colorado move the ball well against OU's defense. I think Oklahoma State can upset them.
