That's exactly what my grandfather said. Poor thing.

In the latest SI, they listed the top #100. Syracuse (my team) is #70. That hurt. LOL

Hey, Courts! It’s nice to see you posting here again.

I hate to say it, but I agree with you about JoePa. The guy is a legend in his own right, but he needs to seriously think about retiring. Penn St. has been on the decline for the last four or five years now. Paterno is getting up there in age. If he wants to keep coaching, that’s cool. But I wouldn’t expect a return to the glory days of yesteryear anytime soon. It’s kinda sad.

You’re right. Clarett definitely wasn’t the only reason OSU won the title last year. But he was a large part of it. He brought a dynamic to the Buckeyes’ offense that would not be there otherwise. Krenzel is a serviceable QB, but he’s nothing spectacular. He does his job effectively. However, I truly felt as though Clarett was the difference-maker on that side of the football. I’m hearing that he will be re-instated for this season now, which I find very questionable. Even with Clarett back, I tend to favor Michigan in the Big 10. I know that OSU is returning most of their starters from last year’s championship squad, but there were a few games that stand out in which they barely beat inferior competition. If placed in a similar position again this year, I don’t think the outcome will be the same. We’ll see, though.

Anyone see that commercial with that kid who says he'll race anything and time and where? "i'll race your brother, your sister, your aunti, i'll race your dog, anydog, any animal, i'll race lance armstong on his bike, 100 meters,... 200 meters, i'll race any world class athlete, and i'll win"

He's going to be a Miami Hurricane.

I love that commercial.

Is that kid a real phenom?

It wouldn't surprise me if he is. After all, elementary kids are being scouted on the playground these days. It's kind of ridiculous.

I'm sure Miami already has him pegged for the Class of 2010.

I think i agree with you. It puts his name up there, it's like Keyal Washington or something like that. He looks young, unlike Mr Abu

Michigan has a really good team. I guess I was not just impressed with Navare or their running game.

I'm not impressed with Navarre, either. He definitely hasn't lived up to the hype post-Drew Henson era. But I think he's serviceable enough to get the job done this year. Is it just me or does it feel like this guy has been playing college ball forever? I think it feels that way because he was talked up before ever taking a snap for Michigan.

Miami just barely pulled off the upset again. And it came against a less-than-stellar team this time. Not good! But it at least shows this is a resilient team. Not invincible as in years past, though.

Frank Gore tore his ACL and is out for the season. Man, does that suck! Two years in a row. How much does that got to hurt? I totally feel for him. It’s difficult to come back from a torn ACL, but two?!!! And while you’re still in the early stages of your college career? Yikes! That has “Majestic Mapp” written ALL over it. He’s a college basketball player, if you don’t know who he is. Injuries cost him a future pro career. So, does this mean Jarrett Payton gets one more chance in the spotlight? If so, I hope he makes the best of it. I want to see this kid experience some success on the field. This is his last year. It would be nice if his career finished on a good note.

Well, rumors abound that last years back up, Jason Geathers, will start, though i'd love to see JP start and run out with a 1000 yard season and a late round draft selection.

We could go gunner, Geathers is a wide out and Payton is great out of the backfield as a receiver.

Berlin seems to thrive on a challenge, we will not be able to come back vs a taletned and veteran FSU defense.

Mo Sikes is day-to-day, poor Frankie.

SEC got hit hard today, Tennessee ousted by Auburn and Eli took out Florida, i bet Peyton is a trickle jealous of that.

This is looking horrible. With the rain and sloppy conditions at Doak Campbell, it doesn't matter who is on the field. 3-0 Miami at the moment, all the big plays by us, Pass to Moore, Payton run, blocked punt, but can't really do to much as this point.

Sean Taylor.

Said it last season and i'll say it again, you'll be seeing him on sundays.

Fumble recovery.
Sack.
Interception.

1 minute into the second quarter, i bet Bobby and Chris hope ST goes pro.
