sorry for that long drawn out opening post guys ...

my team is UNC ... Tarheels all the way! ... we're already looking AWESOME this year. Hansbrough is a complete monster out on the court.

being from NC in the heart of the 4 NC ACC teams its hard not to be a huge college b-ball supporter. come ACC tourney time it gets hardcore fanatical. especially w/ the Duke/Carolina rivalry. people that move here, are always amazed at how seriously we take our teams.

I hate Duke!

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, with the hiring of Coach Hugs, my eye has drifting from The 'Nati down to Manhattan, Kansas. Both of my schools are 3-0 and don't look to have tough schedules outside of conference, though Cincy does play Ohio State (overrated, football and basketball )

Go Bama! The team just won the Paradise Jam and are undefeated.

My heart goes out to Jermareo. He suffered a terrible loss and still made it for the end of the tournament and played an excellent game with a double-double.

The SEC looks to be pretty tough conference this year. I hope the team can make a run for it. They are pretty young but most got a lot of playing experience last year.

Yeah you have to feel for Jermario for his terrible loss. I was surprised that he played in the last two games of the tournament, but he played very well.

As for the team, i think that you have to put them as one of the favorites in the SEC.

BTW Chris have you put in your order for a K-State jersey yet?

Did you read this article at ESPN? Apparently his brother suffered a gunshot wound to the head and that is why they were in Atlanta. That makes me feel even more for him. He is a very strong individual.

ESPN.com - NCB - O'Neil: Bama's Davidson returns from tragedy, helps Tide roll

Are you member at Bamaonline or TiderInsider? Just wondering what you think about all the football rumors...yeah I know, wrong thread.

No, but I really liked the Black Jersey's Hugs introduced. I did order a K-State hoodie and a Huggieville tshirt. Also, I've been playing NCAA Football 2005 with my roommate and we both created schools to play with, sunday night after winning the Championship for the 4th time in 5 years, i went out to find a new job and picked K-State over Auburn and Miami.

I didn`t know about his brother. I don`t know Jermario does it. The way he`s handling all this really shows his character. As for the football rumors, i`m not a member of either of those sites, but i`ve heard some stuff.

Nice to hear that you already order your K-State gear Chris, which i`m surprised that you didn`t do right after they hired Coach Huggie. BTW the Wildcats got blown out by New Mexico tonight. I guess that was a dose of reality for them.

Marquette stomped Duke tonight ... well technically they only won by 11 but still, i'd root for anyone other than the Dookies.

I happen to love Duke and I am ticked that they lost. They played like crap tonight. What is Coach K doing? McRoberts can't carry the team. I am sorry, but he is not J.J. Grrr. So far March Madness is not looking that bright for me.

that is the problem. there is nobody that is anywhere close to being as good as J.J. (i give credit where credit is due and J.J. was an awesome awesome player ... not to mention cute, lol). it's just a really young team and they haven't quite got in the groove yet it seems. Coach K seemed relatively calm tonight too for them to have lost. it was very unlike him.

Hey we`re getting closer to the Big Dance with the selection show coming up in less than an hour from now. I hope we can get our annual pool started up as soon as possible. I`m very eager to redeem myself after my lackluster effort last year and to win for the second time.
