Great pics. Apparently there was a report that she & Rory broke up Caroline has denied them. She is scheduled to play early tomorrow, so looking forward to that.

I`ve heard about the breakup rumors, which Rory also denied. I guess we`ll get some confirmation with it on whether or not Rory will be attending tomorrow`s match.

Yes Caroline is playing at the US Open.

As for her match yesterday, good win for Caro.


She got off to a good start in the first set,


but had a lot of trouble in the second set.


Fortunately Caro stepped up her level of play when it was needed late in the match to win in straight sets.

So good win for Caroline yesterday. I`m pleased with how well she overcome her struggles in the second set. However she still has some work to do as we saw in much of the second set. Still this is a good start for Caroline at the US Open.

BTW if y`all are wondering, Rory was at yesterday`s match. In fact here`s a pic of him and Caroline at a recent practice session.

Caroline is scheduled to play in the first night match at Arthur Ashe Stadium later tonight. I hope that you`ll get a chance to watch it, although it could be a little late for you. I really hope that Caroline will do well in tonight`s match.

Caroline returned to action at the US Open last night and she routed Chanelle Scheepers 6-1, 6-2.


Good win for Caro.


She looked more sharper and focused in last night`s match than she did in her first round match.


Overall i`m very pleased with the improvements Caroline showed in last night`s match.

They didn't show much of her match yesterday on ESPN 2. Instead it was Venus & Serena Williams in a Doubles match that aired while she Caroline was finishing her match. Great win though.

Caroline`s run at the US Open sadly came to an end on Saturday night as she was upset by Camilia Giorgi 6-4, 4-6, 3-6.


What a disappointing result for Caro. She played too defensively in the face of Camila Giorgi`s aggressive play. It was more of the same old song and dance for her. I don`t know what else is there to say other than this ends yet another fruit Grand Slam campaign for Caroline.
