Since those fans of teams in NHL playoffs ,that are eliminated, are posting. Hey time to bring the Bruins thread back to top . We are up 3 -0 in game vas Flyers and yes I heard it all before about last season . Different major difference , Bruins have 10 different players since last year as do the Flyers . Flyers are having huge goalie issues . Last night it was clear in third period Flyers had given up only down buy 3 goals with like over 10 min left . Tim Thomas has proven he is top goalie and hard to beat .

Flyers have no confidence in any of there goalies ,proved it buy changing them 6 out of 10 playoff games .

Rookies other guys who never played in the playoffs are coming on strong . How the Flyers with god bless America Kate Smith version and live singer day after Bin laden death huge deal, come out strong in game 2 score twice quickly ,but lose in OT .

I don't see this series going back to Philly at all , I could be wrong unless the flyers get going really motivate and play a full 60 min it is over .

Bruins have the pressure of proving they can finish out a team and move to Eastern finals .

It ,if they win , there first trip to the Eastern finals in over 20 yrs

Stick a fork in the Flyers 5-1 final Milan Lucic two goals !! last 2 goals empty net . Philly pulled the goalie with 2 min left in game down buy 2 .

On to face Tampa Bay we have home ode and first time in 19 yrs Bruins advance to conference finals .

Nobody will be swept in the next round , Tampa is very very tough !1

Best part of tonight is we ,in Boston, got our local Tv announcers !!

Congrats to the Boston Bruins for defeating the Philadelphia Flyers. I've glad they came out and played as hard as they did. Might I add that I loved those 2 empty net goals?

Last update ,this mooring is patrice bergeron has mild concussion may miss frost game but it is not a serious as expected he will play in the 3rd round . Based on NHL rules a player must be medically cleared to play buy non team dr then the team Dr and cleared buy team and NHL

Bruins blog, From Bruins GM. One bright spot is that he reportedly went home, not to a hospital, after team doctors ruled the symptoms weren’t serious enough to warrant closer observation. Next up for Bergeron is a visit to the neurologist, which will help determine his path back to the ice.
