Andy has his best looking draw at Roland Garros IMO at least. If he can keep up the good play he has shown this year, i think that Andy has a pretty good chance of finally moving beyond the third round at RG and possibly meeting Fed in the quarterfinals. I really hope that Andy will do well and finally have a good run at RG. Anyway here is a pic of him practicing earlier today.

Yeah, if he can't make the second week with this draw... he's never going to.

And ew @ his hat in that picture. The sweat stain makes it look like a bird did its business on his head.

Just wanted to inform everyone that Andy will play his first round match against Romain Jouan tomorrow. Hopefully Andy can get off to a good start in Roland Garros tomorrow.

Earlier today, Andy made his long awaited return to Roland Garros with a 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 win over Romain Jouan. Good win for Andy.

I`m very pleased with how well he played throughout the match, especially with the patience he showed in some long rallies, which he didn`t do in previous years. Plus it`s nice to see him finally get a win at RG.

This is a good start for him.

Fairly straughtforward win for Andy and i'm happy he has got a win at Roland Garros too.I think he will do well in he french open this year and of course he has no points to defend so whatever he does ,i'm sure he will see it as a bonus.

Earlier today in Roland Garros, Andy defeated Ivo Minar 6-2, 6-2, 7-6(2). Good win for Andy.

He looked very good in the first two sets. The third set was much tougher with Minar turning up his level of play, but Andy did a good job of stepping up his play in the tiebreaker to clinch the match. So it was another good performance from Andy. I`m very pleased that he has reached the third round at RG again.

Next up for him is hometown favorite Marc Gicquel. I think that this will be a much tougher match for Andy. Hopefully he can continue his good play in that match.

i was really impressed with andy! he seems a lot more confident on the these clay courts this year!

He looks confident and happy out there which is important.The roland Garros clay court is a mental challenge as much as anything and he is approaching the matches happy to be out there.Its showing in the results.Fantastic against Giquel today.Long may this run continue.

I`m also very pleased with Andy`s performance in today`s match.

He delivered another nice solid performance and did a good job of controlling the tempo and being patient. I`m really proud of Andy for finally reaching the round of 16 at Roland Garros.

I`ve been wanting to see him do this for a while and it`s nice to see it finally happening. Plus Andy will add some more points, which is a nice added bonus. Next up for him will be hometown favorite Gael Monfils. Obviously this will be a much tougher test for Andy, having to go against one of the French Connection`s top stars. However Andy has already beaten Gael earlier this year at Miami. The thing i remember about that match is how much Andy used Gael`s aggressiveness against him with some nice shotmaking. If Andy can do that again, then i like his chances. Hopefully he can give another good performance in the round of 16.

If someone told me that would happen, i would`ve laughed at them.

Andy`s back in action tomorrow as he will take on hometown favorite Gael Monfils in one of the last matches of the day. I hope that Andy will do his best and give another good performance tomorrow.
