| Well Andy has made it to the doubles final in Beijing as he and Mark Knowles defeated Lukas Dlouhy and Philipp Kohlscreiber 4-6, 6-2, 10-7. Good win for Andy.  He and Mark did a great job of coming back from down 5-7 in the super tiebreaker. I`m happy to see Andy making another nice run in doubles. Next up for him and Mark in the finals will be the Bryan Brothers. I think that this is a very intriguing match with Andy going up against his long time Davis Cup teammates and good buddies. This will be the second meeting in the final that Andy will have against Bob and Mike, with the Bryan Brothers winning the previous meeting back in 2001 in L.A. Plus they nearly played each other in the doubles final at Indian Wells, which would`ve been a great match with the three of them and Mardy playing each other. I really hope that Andy can give a good effort against Bob and Mike tomorrow. |
