True, if he wants to win more majors and tournaments, he needs to have more confidence and if he continues to play how he did at AO, he will definitely perform better.

I would love to be. He is the only saving grace of British tennis atm. I do fear that Andy is our only hope for getting a slam and if he doesn't it could be decades before anyone else comes close. I really admire Andy and even if he fails to win a slam I still think he is the best British player there has been in decades and arguably ever.

lol tbh it is the only name I think of particularly in association with the words over hyped and disappointing.

I was so bright eyed when I watched my first Wimbledon at 10 believing like the nation he could win but alas he never did. He really had Margaret Thatcher like skills at depressing a nation! I blame Tim henman for my cynicism of life and of Andy lol.

His always gleaming white shorts and Ariel washing ads are more memorable for me than his tennis, he really did have the whitest of shorts

I didn't think he could ever win but its really disappointing that British names have come and tried to have success and have never quite gotten there. Murray is definitely a better player than him though

There is no doubt about that. Henman played against arguably easier players to. If this was any other time Andy may have already won a slam by now.

Yes those 3 players have changed the game of tennis. For Andy to be even as close as he is, really is remarkable.

True. He's challenged Novak to his extent and beaten nadal on a few times so he's getting more confident and more able at taking it to them which is great. It really makes men's tennis exciting.
