CBJ def Penguins 4-3 OT. Pens led 3-0. The trend continues. I don't remember the last time this team played a full 60 mins.

The first period was great, however I was afraid when they gave up a goal for 3-1 from an unecessary penalty by Neal (what a shock) late in the period.

The team was completely run over in the second period. How a team can go from playing so well to so bad is beyond me.

The refs are awful in this series. The penalty against Sutter for delay of game that led to 3-2 was garbage as was Kunitz "diving" penalty.

Fleury has been the Pens player in these playoffs, but, yikes. The last two goals are on him. 20 seconds to the win, you can't make a play like he did. I always get the jitters when he comes out of his goal to play the puck. He's never been good at it. It was such an avoidable play. As for CBJ's winning goal, it was probably the easiest shot he faced all night.

Credit to CBJ for their fight & their fans were great. However, this is a massive disappointment. It's impossible to tell how Fleury will respond.

Pens def CBJ 3-1 (Kunitz, Jokinen & Letang)

Much better all round performance from the team. Orpik was injured so Bortuzzo came in & it also meant Scuderi & Letang were separated (thank god). Letang had his best game so far & Scuderi looked a bit better.

There was a new line Kunitz, Crosby & Malkin. Bylsma said it was their choice to become a line & to remain together during the game (so who's running the team? ) Anyway, they didn't score again but they did okay, so will be interesting to see if they stick with that on Monday.

Still see this series going 7, Pens all around need to close this series up next game . Columbus is still playing hard and not easy to beat. But does Pittsburgh want to face Rangers or Flyers? Id say Rangers, reason being borht Pens and Flyers have had some brutal games, A series full off fighting and cheap hits etc , is only going to leave the winner battered .

La and San jose is like that fights during the game fights as the game ends ..

Pens lose to NYR 3-2 OT (Stempniak, Neal)

Disappointing game from the Pens. Lost all of their last few playoff games that have gone to OT against NYR, Columbus, Boston & Ottawa.

2-0 Pens (Crosby, Jokinen)

Nice to see Sid breaking his playoff goal drought Jokinen on fire, joint leading score in the playoffs!

Game 4 tomorrow night.

Pens def NYR 4-2 (Malkin, Sutter, Jokinen & Kunitz); Lead the series 3-1. The boys will try to wrap up the series tomorrow

Malkin's spin-o-rama goal was glorious. Looks like the Kunitz-Crosby-Malkin line is sticking for now. Jokinen now the leading scorer in the playoffs with 6 goals

Shoutouts to Gibbons, Letang, Sutter & Martin for their fantastic play. Flower let in a soft one yesterday, but besides that rock solid as he has been for most of the playoffs.

Great game last night for the guys.
Geno's goal last night was awesome. Love the Kuni/Sid/Geno line

NYR def Pens 5-1 (Malkin). It was clear from the first minutes of the game the Pens were not going to win this one. They didn't match NYR level at all. The only player that played to his potential was Geno, who was amazing & scored another HL reel goal, but the rest played like garbage. So uninspired for a team who had the chance to close the game at home.

Game 6 at MSG tomorrow.

Another poor, uninspired game by this team. NYR win 3-1 (Sutter). Another blown 3-1 series lead. At this point, I wouldn't put money on them advancing.

Game 7 on Tuesday.

Pens lose 2-1. NYR win series 4-3. Another huge disappointment, but after they blew games 5 & 6 (especially 5) it was all over. Let's see if Bylsma keeps his job.
