Welcome to the Playoff edition of the 17th season of NFL "Pick the Winners game here at the Sports board! For those who have played this game before, you know the drill. If you are new to the game, it's pretty simple. During each week of the playoffs there will a thread posted with week's slate of games. It is your job to pick the Winners of each match-up & place a point value on it.

At the conclusion of each week, we will add up the total points & crown a "Pick The Winners" champion. Over the course of the season, we will keep a list of the weekly champions & a running point total for each participant. At the end of the season, the person(s) with the highest point total &/or best record &/or closest to the actual score of the Super Bowl will be crowned the playoff winner. Sounds pretty simple , right? So, join in! If you have any questions, feel free to ask here.

Remember, you must have your picks posted by the deadline listed, so make sure to double-check to make sure your picks are correct before then. Also, once the deadline listed passes, your picks are locked in.

There are 13 games in the playoffs.

13 total games, so everyone will get the numbers 1-13 to use.

As normal in Divisional rounds, you pick the 4 winners & give each of them a number as to the likelihood of that teams victory. For examples:

Team A beast Team B (6)
Team C beats Team D (10)
Team E beats Team F (2)
Team G beats Team H (9)

Say you get the first 3 right, but miss the last 1. You get 18 points. Now in Round 2, you pick again, but you have already 6, 10, 2, & 9, so you can't assign those values anymore. And we'll keep a running tab on the values you've already assigned.

Team L beats Team H (7)

This time you get the last 2, but miss the first 2. So now you have 33 points & only the values 1, 3, & 5 left for the 2 semifinals & Super Bowl.
