The medal count is closer, theres less medals and some of the skills are amazing

but i wonder why the name "olympics" gets used for what is effectively an x games

the true olympics are the ones where all the nations are involved

HOCKEY

I only watched the Men’s Figure Skating

the times that events run is when I’m sleeping cause my sleep is so messed that I slept like 6pm-1am and think coverage starts 8pm EST

I watched the women's skiathlon and biathlon. The biathlon is confusing because the starts are staggered so it's difficult to see who's leading.

It's a shame about the coverage!

BBC wouldn't get very far if it just concentrated on the British competitors.

Andrew Musgrave did well though. He came 7th in the Skiathlon.

I loved watching the men's luge. I was rooting for Chris Mazdzer. He won a silver medal.

I didn't even see the Opening Ceremony. What made the skaters fall?

I did see Canada vs. that team that Russia put together. Geez. I mean, it was of course a blowout. I kinda feel bad for Russia, though I expect every team that plays Canada to lose in these Olympics. Russia is going by the name ''Olympic Athlete From Russia'' or as you'll see on the TV screen when they play it's ''OAR' for those wondering.

Also for those that forgot, the NHL did not send it's players over to Korea for the Olympics this year, but the hockey will still go on. I wish that women's hockey was bigger. They only have 8 countries participating in these Olympic Games while the men have 12 I believe. Anyway this year's winter Olympics will have players from the AHL, college, & European leages to make up the men's rosters.

The Opening ceremony could have been so much better. I heard the entire ceremony was a bit over 2 hours so I don't know why they couldn't show all of it.

I haven't seen the snowboarding. I've been enjoying the luge, biathlons, skiathlon and skating. I was hoping for some skiing but it has been postponed.

The wind has been insane so I think that's why the skiing was postponed.
