| Qualified for the World Cup today: Slovakia Switzerland Argentina Honduras Honduras clinched the 3rd and last guaranteed CONCACAF berth by beating El Salvador 1-0 and Team USA rallied from 2-0 deficit to tie Costa Rica 2-2 in Washington, DC in a wild finish that saw Costa Rica's coach and an assistant coach ejected from the game in the 87th minute and Team USA scoring the equalizer in the 5th minute of stoppage time(95th) down a man due to injury. And because Mexico ended up in a 2-2 draw against Trinidad & Tobago, Team USA won the CONCACAF group by one point over Mexico. Costa Rica will have to regroup and play Uruguay in a playoff for one of the last World Cup spots Nov. 14 and 18.
