| Hey Jessie.  Welcome to the thread!Thanks for the link to the pictures. I love the swimming venue. It's so cool looking! They did a really nice job with the buildings. | Thanks for the schedule don't know if any of ya'll are keeping tabs on the womens soccer team but we got delt a huge blow today in our friendly against Brazil as Abby Wambach might have broken her left leg. For those that aren't familure with the womens National Soccer team Wambach is the leading scorer of the team an incredible weapon. she went down in about the 31st minute and got carted off in a stretcher and taken to a local hospital. | so like i LOVE michael phelps....like my nome on other sites is Mrs.Phelps like yea so i feel the need to post what i think will happen in beijing with him... 400 IM i think he will break his record and go below a 4:05....i think ryan will get him on breaststroke but lets remember that michael has a faster tme in the 100 fly...a faster time in the 100 back....ryan has a faster time in the breast....but again michael is a better freestyler....if ryan wants to beat him he will need to turn even with michael in the backstroke i dont think he will because michael is such a good backstroker as is ryan but ryan has him by hundreths not seconds...anyways so they will need to turn even on backstroke for ryan to beat him. 200 freestyle i think michael will win. no one else has gone below a 1;44.00 and i dont think anyone other then ian thorp has gone under 1:45.00....i dont think that he will lose that race. i also think he will drop his time...watching him in the trials and being that close i think he will break it too... 200 butterfly i dont think that anyone will come close to beating him. i think that if someone where too they would need more then a half bodyleanth lead by 150. i also think think that he will lower the world record...i hope to see a 1:51.00 200 IM ryan is like RIGHT there i think he does stand a chance but here is the order of events: Men's 200m Backstroke Final Women's 200m Backstroke Semifinal Men's 200m Individual Medley Final i think ryan know he stands his best shot at the 200 back and i do think that he will not be able to beat michael that soon after racing...i know he did good in the trials but they had more racen in between i think. i THINK. anyways i think he will win. 100 butterfly okay this is a tricky one. i think michael will win but this is one that he might not win. like ian does hold the world record and all but he has not lost to him since 2005...i also think that the world record could be broken. i think USA will win all the relays i hope they do hehe anyways i could be like WAY wrong...also its gonna show what athleats can adjust to the morning finails.... | |||
