|  Welcome to the 2008 Fan Fanforum NFL Fantasy Draft. This is where we will select our players in accordance with the rules mentioned below. Rules  Draft order will be determined by a first come, first serve basis in the first round. The snaking method will be implemented for the rest of the draft. This means that if you make the first overall selection, then you will be the last one to pick in the second round. 24-hour rule. You have twenty-four hours to make your selection. Should you not do so within this timeframe, then we will autodraft the next highest rated player from Yahoo’s rankings. An effort will be made to help fill open positions left on your roster. (Please make an effort to make your selections as quickly as possible. We would like to complete the draft in a timely manner. If you know that you will not be able to be at the board to make your next pick, then it would be a good idea to PM your picks to someone you trust.) This is not necessarily a “rule,” but please heed this suggestion. Try to keep track of everyone’s picks and cross off players that have already been selected. This will prevent accidental duplicate picks and keep the draft rolling smoothly. Once you have made a pick, there is no going back. If a player happens to get injured in the preseason, that is a difficult break. | Ahhh! There goes one of my sleeper picks. Gonzalez could have a Wes Welker type season this year. Here's an update on my current roster: STARTERS QB: Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle Seahawks RB: Steven Jackson, St. Louis Rams RB: Jamal Lewis, Cleveland Browns WR: Terrell Owens, Dallas Cowboys WR: Santonio Holmes, Pittsburgh Steelers WR: Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons TE: Tony Scheffler, TE, Denver Broncos K: D: David Harris, New York Jets D: D: BENCH BN: Matt Schaub, QB, Houston Texans BN: BN: BN: BN: BN: With the addition of Schaub at QB, I've added a potential #1 QB to my bench. Alot of the WRs in Seattle are currently banged up, so Hasselbeck could start off the season slow. That would give me the opportunity to start Schaub if the matchups are favourable. Now I just have to add depth at the other positions. But it's getting tougher and tougher deciding on who to take. | I believe it was changed due to the volume of teams we have this year. If Favre has a good or even a decent season, I like this team.
