I really suck in anything which requires blending but moodboards I can do.

True, April. Just go with the flow and you'll be fine.

This is randoml but I find it really interesting how my students have such strong, defined political interests and ideologies these days, more so than in years past. I can tell that they grew up during the most recent presidential campaign and election in this country.

That's definitely a good sign, April. Same here as well, and I think the increasing level of information available online (which isn't censored by the government) allows people to make their own judgements more easily than in the past, when information could be easily twisted to suit political agendas etc.

Same, I definitely see a difference now in the level of knowledge that kids/teenagers have these days ... compared to when I was in school too.

Yeah, they wanted to watch some live coverage of the Supreme Court stuff yesterday. It’s just interesting how aware they are in today’s political climate. It’s good to see, and I feel that the availability and easy accessibility of information out there online makes it easier for them to develop their own opinions rather than just inheriting their parents’. Now it’s all about teaching them to distinguish between reliable and non-reliable info.

That's awesome, April! We do current events in our government classes, but I don't think the kids are all that interested outside of having to know certain stuff for the quizzes. I'd love to get them actually interested (or at least want to be informed).
