I think I'm gonna set up a fund over the weekend and start collecting donations for the kids separated from their families. I have always wanted to do charity work but not really sure how to go about it, any ideas guys? I saw Lesley Ann Brandt set up a GoFundMe page this morning and she's got me inspired.

I feel so dumb that I don't know the first thing about how to raise money, but I'm gonna figure out all the logistics over the weekend and throw myself into this.

Sarah, I can’t think about the end of summer right now. I’m enjoying it too much.

I know nothing about raising money, Becks, but it’s a noble aspiration. Did you guys hear that Melania Trump wore a jacket that says “I really don’t care, do you?” jacket to go visit them?

April, you deserve to enjoy summer as long as possible.

Becks, that's a fantastic idea. I don't know about GFM. I've heard they keep too much of the profits. There might be a way to donate specifically to certain groups instead, but if you want to decide where to send the funds then maybe look into another site or just do extra research on GFM.

... well at least you get a nice long break like this, I barely get 20 days of leave each year and that's considered quite a nice chunk of time (the number of leave days is depending on seniority/position) compared to quite a few of my co-workers.

That's an awesome idea, Becks but I do agree with Amelia. It's probably best to donate to the source if possible, since middlemen in these transactions will get a cut of the money.
