Yeah, and this break I wasn't working so it got a bit boring, for sure. If I had more money I'd be doing a lot more stuff to keep myself occupied. Don't get me wrong, I love relaxing days, but I need something to break it up, and that tends to be school for me. Even if I'm taking online classes and I'm home, at least I'm focusing on something. Although I did a LOT of driving this break.

Sound my next semester. I literally have one class. So I'll be driving loads, perhaps get a student job. idk. Drive mostly though, I really want to pass my test in summer.

Passing driving was so liberating to me, honestly having a car is so convenient. Although I've made the choice to not get a parking pass for school this semester - I only have two on-campus classes, and only two days per week, so it's really not worth the price gauging.

I'll either walk or take the bus, since campus is fairly close anyway. And it also saves me on how often I'll have to get gas, too.

What class will you be taking?

Expensive parking problems seems to be a universal issue.

I have to re-take philosophy, Ethics and Deontology due to the curriculum that changed. After that I should be done (I don't know for sure since I don't know if I passed this semester yet. )

That sounds like an intense class. What's your major? I feel like I should know this. And then you'll presumably graduate?

Social Work, specialized in Social Legal Advice. And I should graduate yeah.

I thought this said "dentology" and was confused why you'd need to learn about teeth for a social work degree.

Either something with children and young adults, or mediation in court.

I definitely could but it's better to wait, since a lot of people do apply for jobs like that.

Aw that sucks. I'm good too, it's been storming here and the power went out this afternoon while grocery shopping... It was a new experience.

I would recommend getting some experience before though, like an intern ship or even volunteer work, gives you an advantage once you apply for a full time position.

Well, internship is required for anyone who wants a bachelor's degree so I have experience in two companies, and if I want to apply for something with children, I've done a lot of volunteerwork there. I have quite a few options, luckily.


Yep, earlier this week although it wasn't as severe as I've seen in the news. The power being out was probably someone hitting the wrong cables somewhere.
