I always saw this as very passive aggressive

Oh, yeah. And the way Bellamy just kind of . . . takes it . . . well, it's like he's dealt with Jasper's anger a lot over those three months. He's used to it, and he doesn't lash out, because he understands why Jasper is angry at him. And to be honest, he's angry at himself.

It's so sad though, Bellamy (and Clarke) have the weight of the world on their shoulders, they make those tough decisions, they hate themselves for it and then have to deal with their own self loathing reflected in everyone elses actual loathing.

I feel for them, but I also . . . I don't know, I feel like sometimes a character like Jasper is necessary, because it reminds them that their decisions do have consequences.

Yeah, they are necessary, otherwise they'd go around doing whatever they wanted, they need people around them to ground them, friends who will say it how it is, I get that.
But most the time I find myself getting annoyed at those characters always moaning at Bellamy and Clarke, like give them a break? __________________

Oh, yeah, I get that.
I mean . . . it depends on the character, too. Jasper I understand, because Mou Weather was horrific, and the other delinquents were looking to him as the leader here, and Maya did so much to help him and then she died in his arms because of something Bellamy and Clarke did. |

I 100% get why Jasper is the way he is in season 3/4. But at the same time, they live in such an extreme world, a world were death is the norm, every character has lost SO MUCH, Bellamy and Clarke have both lost so much, gone through so much, and you hardly ever see those two hold grudges, Bellamy may have lost his way in season 3, but on the grand scheme of things I'm very proud of both Bellamy and Clarke in the way they've handled themselves throughout the show.
Plus, I find it so hard to be mad at either of them I really wanted Jasper to survive though and have a thing with Octavia, but that never got to happen __________________

I was proud of Bellamy in particular in season four. Clarke . . . it was a rough season for her, and I think it was kind of . . . that bunker fiasco was her "Season 3 Bellamy" moment, if you will. But I still adore both characters.
It makes me sad that Jasper and Clarke never got to patch up their friendship, but I'm really glad that Bellamy and Jasper were able to. And they had some nice moments before he passed. |

See, Bellamy was a douche for like multiple episodes, whereas Clarke was a douche for like one episode, IMO. Maybe that's just me cause I struggle to be mad at Clarke, I can't explain it
Clarke never got to fix things with Jasper or Roan Clarke is such a tragic character, I can't. __________________

Yeah, I was just thinking about her and Roan, too. And Bellamy didn't exactly end things well with Roan, (I don't know if Bellamy ever liked Roan ), but I do think Roan respected the hell out of him.

You think?
I think Bellamy is still very affected by it, and Jasper was always very affected, too. |

It obviously still affects them, but at the same time, they don't grieve anymore, not like they used to.
Roan died and Clarke didn't react, Jasper wanted to die and Bellamy let him. I know Bellamy couldn't have changed Jasper's mind and Jasper was happy to go, it's what he wanted and Bellamy respected that, but at the same time I found the whole thing surreal. That they're at a point when they're accepting of their friends dying. __________________

That's true. Very sad to think about it like that.
I hope Jasper will be mentioned a couple times in season five. Doesn't have to be every episode, just once or twice. Monty would probably be the one to mention him, but I would love it if it was Bellamy. |
