Man, I would have been smart to ask that.

HOWEVER . . . now that it's public knowledge that they were told to play it romantically, that's something that could very easily be asked at a con.

Tbh April, I wouldn’t be shocked if it was early on. Looking at some of the s1 scenes, even looks there were loaded. For example, that scene with Clarke, Wells, Murphy, and Bellamy when Finn walks up. Bellamy was starting to enjoy poking Clarke. You could see it in his face. They weren’t exactly the best of back then but I still maintain that Atom death scene was the start of things changing. It was like Bellamy had an awakening into his thoughts. Like oh, this girl is tough. I didn’t believe he thought that of Clarke initially. He believed she was a pampered princess. Hence the nickname that became a term of endearment.

I love that it hit hard

because it means that deep down, it was apparent to all that was portrayed as romantic all along.

It's crumbs and it doesn't change anything, but I'm so glad that we know this now.

Sharon, I agree that it's all there - even in the early scenes. The way they seemed to be flirting a bit during Unity Days, and just the 20383039 romantic tropes used when it comes to Bellarke.

Honestly, let's be realistic here, CL's have always been more certain than Bellarkers that we were getting endgame.

We were always more cynical about it, but seems like there was real fear that would happen.
