It really is. I wish that the love I experienced with my ex was a love founded on friendship. We might have lasted if we had actually, you know, liked each other instead of just loved each other.

Yeah, pretty much. Which is funny, cause Clexa isn't normally the type of ship I like, but they got me.
I'm glad I ship both, though. Gives me the opportunity to try and see both sides of it from opposite perspectives, and also, both groups of shippers are very talented, so I get to enjoy all of it. __________________

It's nice being able to enjoy every facet.
So I bought a HDMI cable today and just watched some Bellarke vids on a huge HD flat screen, took my breath away! __________________

That's cool, Amelia. Didn't it kind of take Bellamy a while to grow on you, too? I remember you making a list of, like, polarizing characters last hiatus, and you put him at the top of it, and I remember you saying that you wanted to like him but just struggled with it. I mean, season four ended up being a pretty pivotal season for Bellamy's development, and I don't think you'd be alone if you're one of the fans who needed to see that change from him in season four in order to start to ship Bellarke.
Ooh, which vids, Becks? Man, I want to write some fanfic tonight, but I'm so tired! |

Also I love the parallel vids, part 1 and 2. I'm a huge fan of Bellarke paralleling canon ships, it says a lot. __________________

Personally, I thought that shipping BC in season 3 was so hard and aggravating sometimes. Even though I ultimately loved all their scenes, it was tough being in the fandom (apart from FF). It's been a lot easier this season.

That makes sense. I mean, I think it's really hard to ship or even support a ship when you aren't really liking half of the pairing.
Oh, wow, Becks, I wasn't ready for that. Now if only "Seeing" wasn't misspelled. |

Yeah, the concept can overpower the grammar mistake.
For me . . . I was always intrigued by Bellamy, but I don't actually remember when I started to like him. I think it just kind of happened naturally and gradually. All I know is that, by the time the 1x06 flashbacks happened, he was my favorite character already. |

I really didn't like Bellamy in the first two episodes, such an ass there but then the real Bellamy started to emerge and I was intrigued and started liking him. Whereas I didn't like Finn from the start and that feeling never changed. Bellamy was always inherently a much more compelling and complex character and his interactions with Clarke just enhanced that because they have such an interesting dynamic.

I agree, Sarah. Finn was the supposedly "likable" guy, but there wasn't enough substance there with him for me to like. So Bellamy was much more compelling, as you said. Bellamy benefits, too, from being the character who is part of BOTH the show's most central relationships (or at least what I interpret to be the most central relationships: Bellarke and The Blakes). So much of his character is revealed in his interactions with the two of them.
