I agree with that. Bellarke’s relationship is so unique to the other ones on this show. So it’s really no wonder a lot of people feel it’s the one that’s been handled the best.

I feel like especially in season 1 with so many teenagers it was so difficult to sense which direction the writers wanted to go so they tried a bit of everything. Hence why we have a lot of different delinquent ships.

But Bellarke was such a beautiful enemies to leaders to friends to ... story.

I mean, the slow burn is killing us NOW

but I'm truly glad that TPTB didn't rush it with them and have them hook up in like season 1 because it wouldn't be as earned and the ship we now love so much.

If we don’t get anything Bellarke, it’ll just feel like a huge gyp. Like this fandom hung in there through another fandom actively working for cancellation. We still voted strong on polls and such. We had unwavering faith that it would all be worth it in the end. Just not getting rewarded for that unyielding loyalty and passion seems almost criminal.

I'm not sure if I agree with the concept of being rewarded by being passionate fans, Bellarke needs to happen because it's what it's been leading to ... all these years. It's the only thing that makes sense.

Not exactly owed Sarah. I just want a satisfactory conclusion and if things keep on this trajectory, I don’t think it will end that way for many viewers, ya know? I want to have a conclusion that I can live with. There is nothing worst than watching a show for years only to hate the ending. I saw that happen with lots of fandoms. The most recent one being GOT. People hated what they did.

I hated how they ended Lost.

What do you guys think of these “I Misinterpreted” shirts that a lot of Bellarke fans are getting and planning to wear at Conageddon? I have mixed feelings.

That I can fully agree with.

It wouldn't feel satisfying to me either, and I'd frankly feel betrayed and cheated of a proper ending. But at the same time, I don't trust the show to give me a happy canon ending for Bellarke anymore so I'm just trying to remember that as we go into the last season. It's just better for my shipper heart that way.

I’m praying in the deep part of my mind for Bellarke.

*theres a whisper* But the sensible side of me is more realistic. I won’t truly give up on them and I’m praying that if Bellarke is lost, at least let Bellamy be out of that other relationship. The show ending like that for me, tears. I don’t cry at tv often, it takes a lot, but that may do it.

I honestly don’t think I could ever think of the show the same. And rewatching, probably not. It would feel tainted.

Same, Sharon, SAME. I don't even want to have expectations for Bellarke anymore but for the love of God, release Bellamy from that relationship already.
