I don't hate the flame, I think the concept is interesting but the storyline has run its course. There's so little people left that actually care about it and it's not like they'll all actually continue to follow Madi.

I just feel like there are so many negative parallels between the primes and the flame. The whole idea of worshipping a false god is something that could be applied to the commander system, too. The concept of altering someone’s actual mind obviously applies. Both systems require the destruction of innocent lives (referring to the conclave here). Plus, it’s a major plot device that hasn’t been well-thought out at all because were told in season 3 that it was degrading, but hundreds of years in the future, it’s still working fine.

I miss Madi just being . . . Madi. Being a kid. The flame turned her into a murderer. If Clarke lets that thing remain in her past this season, I feel like that would be pretty OOC given what she’s gone through with the mind drive.

True, at this point, I feel like it means the most to Gaia and not many others.

Parents!Bellarke will put their foot down, especially after Madi also stabbed Jordan (is he okay btw???) and I'm ready for it. Madi needs to learn she's still a child and can't just do whatever the hell she wants (ha!).
