This past episode does make me wonder what Lexa's conclave was like.

I thought the exact same thing, I expected it to be in some sort of gladiator arena. The conclave was terrifying, to think Lexa had to be that brutal as a child makes me sad

This is why Bellexa should have been bro's, they could have learned from each other and accepted why they're so different cause of their upbringings!

I've always heard 23. Because he was about 6 when Octavia was born, if I recall.

Yeah it says 23 on the wiki page, so theres like 3/4 years between him and Lexa, it's weird though cause I never imagined him to be older than her

I always imagine Bellamy to be a little older than the others, maybe because he's so protective of the delinquents and almost fatherly towards Octavia.

Physically Lexa looks younger, but personality wise I always felt she had such an old soul, Bellamy had to grow up quickly and so did Lexa, but I feel Lexa had to grow up faster in a more harsh way.

It's a beautiful contrast in a way, whilst Lexa was becoming a trained killer, Bellamy was becoming a father figure/ care giver. The gender role reversal

That's why I really wanted a Bellexa friendship because they could have learn tolerance from each other, they're different because their childhoods shaped them that way, but they both know responsibility and having adulthood thrust upon them at such a young age, they had to grow up faster then even Clarke...
