I wish it was still on at the normal time, to be honest. I like being able to go over to my friend’s house when it’s dark out and fangirl about it with her. (If it’s an episode like 5x03 or 5x08.)

Yeah, it's hard to articulate thoughts for this one. I'm mostly trying to get all my Bellarke thoughts out there first, and then I'll focus on the other characters. I don't have as much to say about them except that I love Murphy and Indra.

April, I saw you asked somewhere if you think Bellamy manipulated Madi into taking the flame and I don't think he did, he didn't force this on her, he backed away from her and he made it clear that Clarke didn't approve, he didn't lie to her so how could he be manipulating her?

Also, everything he said was accurate, he told her what was at stake, he wanted her to know the gravity of the situation.

Other people have been asking that, Becks, but not me. I’ve been responding to that much in the same way you did there, actually.

He influenced her, no doubt about that. But everything he told her was true, so I don’t think it’s a manipulation. Now if he has said, “Yeah, I told Clarke and she’s okay with it,” then that would have been a manipulation and I would have been extremely mad at him for that. But yeah, he told her the truth. Which, if you’ve got a young girl who’s about to make a life-changing decision, she’d damn well better know the truth. (As much as I dislike Gaia, I have to give her props for also not forcing the flame on Madi.)

I rewatched that scene a couple of times. I am in love with Bob’s acting in that scene. He’s tearful, his voice is quiet, and you can tell he feels awful about asking Madi to do that. As he should, really.

I don’t know if I’m doing full thoughts this week. I’ve been posting so many long ass posts all over the place.

Just finally read the episode summary. “Murphy starts a fire?” WTF? A metaphorical fire?

This is how I feel, a summary would just be me repeating myself

One thing I haven’t talked about was the Lexa stuff unsurprisingly I loved the Lexa mentions. April, I know you’re over the flame and I was reluctant at first and kinda creeped out by the idea, but honestly, just knowing Lexa is looking over Clarke somehow through Madi kills me! Oh my Clexa heart, I never thought we’d get Clexa like content again but it was a pleasant surprise.

Also. I love Raven and Echo’s relationship, they’re like bickering sisters

In general, I felt like this episode was good plot-wise but didn't do so much for the emotional moments which felt kind of lacking. I hope that changes in the remaining episodes.
