The shooting in Florida is absolutely heartbreaking and it's already been the 18th mass shooting in the US this year and we're just in the middle of February.

I watched a teacher from the school talk on how well prepared they were for this and it still didn't prevent the tragedy from happening. At the end she pleaded Congress to do something, her voice cracking up.

Apparently there was an armed security guard on school property, should give the people who advocate for arming school staff something to think about. People think they'd have a Rambo moment, react immediately & properly and just shoot the attacker without any other casualties. That's a fairy land, not reality.

I cannot even imagine what it feels like to live in a country with such an easy access to guns, going to school or sending your kids to school knowing that being killed in a mass shooting is not just an abstract thought. My country has a lot of issues and is going backwards in many regarads but I'm so thankful for our strict gun laws.

Before I went to bed last night I saw Trump's tweets, where he basically blamed his class mates and neighbours for knowing he had problems and not reporting it to authorities?

And Tomi Lahren with all her snowflake like commentary, this woman should not have a platform, there are not many people who make my blood boil as quickly as those two.

That's just ridiculous has been 18 school shootings in what, like 46/47 days?

Of course Trump said that and I think I saw someone who got caught up in the shooting called out Tomi Lahren on her response to it.

The whole reason the kid was kicked out of the school was because people DID report him. And apparently there had been multiple calls to his home in the past few years for various reasons. The police were aware of this kid, he was on their radar. Mr. Trump needs his facts before he tweets.
