Digging up this thread to say that I watched Blinder tonight. He was definitely more of a side character in it (honestly deserved to be lead tbh, what little is said of his backstory was way more interesting than the lead's backstory).

I really hope Bob picks good projects after the 100. He's talented enough to get cast in some main network shows or even a good cable/streaming show - something skewed towards a more general audience, too. I'd of course love to see him in movies, but I have no idea what type of movies he'd go for if he wants to break into the mainstream. I'd love to see him in a comedy.

I agree, and seeing how the original Netflix movies/TV series shows are doing so well now, I feel like he'd do well in a project developed via that sort of platform. I feel like he won't do action movies, but more character-driven ones so something more indie/darker ... or a drama perhaps. I'd love to see him in a comedy too, though.

I think Bob would do well in a comedy just because he is so hilarious, but considering how he likes to play the “******* with a heart,” I think he’d gravitate more towards dramas and indies. Which are the kind of movies I prefer.

I'd love for Bob to do more indies so long as they're well-written and well-directed.

Anyone ever seen the movie Blue Valentine? I'd love to see Bob in a movie like that. It's not really an indie film, but it has a slight indie vibe.

It’s actually a really good film the whole way through. I like that it has an indie vibe to it, even though it’s not an indie. I guess that’s where I’m going with the type of movie I’d love to see Bob do.
