Dude, that age old "Bellarke fans are homophobic" pretty sure I'm not homophobic

it's super offensive.

I have actually noticed that some LGBT+ fans have automatically made a judgement on me just because I ship Bellarke and sometimes I have genuinely been self-conscious telling certain fans I ship Bellarke because of it. People also assume you can't be LGBT and a BC shipper which is BS cause I know plenty of LGBT BC fans.

All fandoms have bad apples who take things too far creating a bad name for the rest of us, it sucks.

Yeah, I met a lot of LGBTQ Bellarke fans at Conageddon, actually. It was pretty awesome.

There's a lot of us (obviously Becks and myself included), honestly, more than people might think.

Semi-related rant, but I just wish people would be civil with each other. I think a lot of drama happens when people act petty and stuff. Now, that's not to say that certain people shouldn't be called out when they do bad things. But I find that addressing it civilly or at least somewhat in a constructive way is a lot better (unless they're just not listening, in which case... why waste breath talking at them?)

Yeah, it's unfortunate but it happens a lot on social media. People can hide behind their phones and computers and it emboldens them to say stuff that they wouldn't typically say in RL.

I try to stay away from that kind to be honest. I don’t judge people on their ships. That’s ridiculous. At the end of the day, who really cares? That’s why I prefer sites like this one. You can really get to know people beyond the tv show.

I doubt that I'll go back either. I still retweet/like stuff from time to time but that's it. The disadvantages outweigh the benefits to me.

Yeah, I don't blame Bob, either. He doesn't use his that much anyway. I totally understand not posting unless he really has to or if something important is going on.

He definitely Tweet and reTweets stuff from time to time, but he's not active in terms of sharing pictures/posts. I'm fine with it as long as it makes him happy.

He's dealt better with social media in the last two years or so ... at least he hasn't quit Twitter unexpectedly before returning after a while.
