Alright, so... while I do still have iffy feelings on Octavia, she was a LOT better in s6 than she has been for a while. The scene with Pike was some of of the best stuff the show has done.

Regarding these two... I am glad that they are back to working together. And I am glad that Bellamy is holding his ground in that he is no longer responsible for her actions. I know that Bob has hoped that he can get Bellamy's storyline away from Octavia, and that is what is frustrating to me about this whole "Octavia disappeared" storyline. They seemed to be perfectly wrapping up the Blake separation/dependency storyline. And now his s7 SL or at least most of it will be inherently tied to his sister. I just hope that they find her within like, two or three episodes, tops. Bob/Bellamy deserve to have a SL that is separate from Octavia, focused on him. I do get that of course I can't expect them to not share ANY scenes, but I just wish it was more in a "working together" capacity and not anything so heavy. Or if it is, let it be Octavia saving Bellamy for once.

I agree, Amelia. It really is frustrating because it felt like they were finally getting their relationship back on track and OF COURSE, she had to die/disappear just when they are getting there. :blank: They needed a platform to launch into the anomaly storyline, which I get ... I just wish that it wasn't at the expense of the Blakes relationship, which clearly has been through the ringer enough already.

Blakes Adventure Squad could've been so fun but no.... Now they're putting the responsibility back on Bellamy to save Octavia, because of course and I really wish it would've been someone else like Indra or Gaia or even Gabriel.

Mood, Mel. It just feels tiresome and done before, they should have switched it up to someone else going after Octavia ... Indra or Gabriel would be my first picks.

I agree completely. Octavia in season 6 . . . I don’t know how they did it, but they managed to make me root for her again. The scene with Pike was indeed fantastic.

It’s somewhat ironic that the Blakes relationship is probably at its healthiest in a season where they shared very few scenes. I hope we don’t backtrack on that, and I hope that Bellamy isn’t completely relegated to saving Octavia in season 7. I want him to save her, of course, but I don’t want that to be it for him.

Yeah, it's pretty ironic and sad, isn't it? They seem to get along better after being separated for long periods of time. And I couldn't agree more about your last sentence, Bellamy deserves better than to just play a savior role for Octavia/anyone else in the show.

Just hoping that it's not another regression for Bellamy. I like where he was at, in season 6, when it came to Octavia. He finally realised that he can't continue sacrificing himself to save her.

I know I praised Bellamy being Clarke’s savior in season 6, but that just feels different than him being assigned the job of Octavia’s savior.

It's definitely different, and also it's been season after season where we've seen Bellamy in that capacity re Octavia (whereas this was the first time that he's actively had to search out and save Clarke, apart from 3A). I feel like Bob is obviously tired of this too, based on his MTCC comment.
