I think he'll be able to forgive and trust her again, we've seen him capable of forgiving those who hurt him but Octavia is the only person in his life he loved unconditionally, this betrayal hurts more and it'll take more time to heal.

It cut him deeper than anything else, I'm sure. He was dedicated to protecting her his whole life, so for it to turn out so badly, definitely something hard to swallow.
