Nope, not too much to ask. It’s definitely possible to have angst between two characters without having a conflict between them. We see this at the end of season one, for example, when Bellamy has to let Lincoln take Octavia away while he stays and fights. Lots of angst and emotion there, but not so much of a conflict between them so much as there’s a conflict around them.

The scene was angsty, emotional and heartbreaking but there was no conflict, it actually resolved some of the conflict they had earlier in the season when Bellamy told her his live was better before she was born.

Yeah, you’re right, Paulina, it actually did resolve some conflict. Now that’s a rare kind of angst, granted, but it’s definitely possible with two characters like Bellamy and Octavia.
