Bellamy is, like, the common figure in both reunions I'm most looking forward to!

As much as I love his and O's relationship, though, I really do think time apart could be good for Bellamy in particular. He needs to understand that he has value beyond just being Octavia's protective big brother, and she needs a chance to develop into a leader without her brother being, like, a security blanket.

Not that she will change a lot in apperance but she'll be an adult when they meet again. She was still between 16-18. When they meet again, she will be all grown up, probably more confident then ever.

They'll both be very different people when they meet again, that's for sure. But it will make for a whole other set of dynamics between them and that excites me.

I just think this time apart, as sad as it is, could really be good for them. Octavia can spread her wings within the confines of a bunker (ironically enough), and Bellamy can finally live life without the responsibility of protecting his sister.

It'll definitely let them grow individually but they'll think about each other every day, hoping they are alive and that they'll reunite one day.

I feel like they've had so much time apart and individual growth by now, that it's not really any longer needed for them to be apart.
I do agree that they could both have interesting growth, definitely
But for the relationship I would've preferred the two of them not separated

Yeah, I don't think they needed to be on their own in order to grow (it's also something Jason said in an interview and I disagreed with his take on the Blakes) but it's going to be interesting to see how much they change when apart, when they don't influence each other.

I'm actually really excited for Bellamy/Octavia + Clarke to have time apart, I mean it's not like we'll feel it, it'll time jump so it won't affect us. We will get to see them grow individually which will be so interesting. But more then anything I'm excited to see their new revitalised relationships in season 5. Them getting to know each other again and an epic reunion.

The time jump will be really refreshing. I hope to see them a lot lighter and happier, at least at the start of season 5. And I hope Bellamy has progressed with forgiving himself.
