Ya'll need to read the books. I'm not claiming their classic literature, obviously, but you teach eighth grade English, April.

That's when like everyone reads/read them.

The latter books are daunting cause they're so long, but honestly you can speed through them. The only one that was difficult for me was the fifth because it got to be all about school bureaucracy and government conspiracies.

April, it’s basically about a young African American boy named Spencer. He comes from a poverty stricken gang violence drug heavy neighborhood. He’s really great at football. So the high school coach from Beverly Hill High comes to recruit him. The thing is, the coach knows his mother and actually grew up in the same neighborhood. The coach actually was very successful, made the NFL, prominent now. Great house, wife, two children about the same age as Spencer. So basically Spencer has to live with them in this huge new house to attend the new high school and drama persists . Spencer is trying to balance his old life with the new one. Old relationships with new ones. It’s pretty decent.

Anyhoo, Asher is Spencer’s teammate and Olivia is Spencer’s pseudo sister, the coach’s daughter.

You should check it out April. I’m just madly in love with Asher and Olivia. They slept together once when she was high on drugs and he was drunk. Asher also had a girlfriend, her friend. But that’s over now. Olivia was in rehab prior to the shows beginning and Asher went through some crap s1 via his parents. He was homeless and everything. Olivia is like his biggest supporter. They should definitely be together. It’s all there.

I just finished the last season of Gotham yesterday. I wasn’t exactly on the teen Bruce and Selina train but I dug the adult versions in the series finale. Teen Selina wasn’t worthy of Bruce imo.

I am still able to separate my Gina feelings from JM, but I'm not sure how long that'll last.
