Based on what Bob said at the con, we'll see a more mature Bellamy who isn't as emotional and irrational. I don't think he'd completely shut off emotionally, that would be regression, he has people around him who care about him. We won't see the impulsive Bellamy or at least it won't take over as much, he'll be reserved but that means he'll approach things differently, logically, not that he turned off his emotions. Similar to how Monty acts and reacts, he's clearly affected by everything but puts it aside when there's work to be done.

I’m so down for more mature Bellamy. I can’t wait. I spoke that into existence after the finale last season on the 100 board/Bob thread. I’m so happy it’s coming true. He’s literally a man now, not that he wasn’t before but it’s a world of difference between a 20 something guy to almost 30 something one.

Me too. Has Bob ever been so positive about his character? He usually anticipated people being mad at his character.

I don't really see it as Bob being the most optimistic about Bellamy's path this season because he did express reservation about the characterisation initially (but has since made peace with it) ... but I do think, as an actor, it'll be the most exciting season to be playing him because of what opportunities the time jump affords him as an actor.

I just remember how he tried to warn us before season 3 aired. Boy, was he right.
