I get that Bellamy storylines are hard, because he is that guy who has those strong ties to so many other people. And I love that about him, and I don’t want that to change. But at the same time, I watch this Clarke storyline unfolding this season, and I think to myself, damn, how cool would it be to get an episode like 6x07 all about Bellamy?

Yes please. Bob also said that he doesn't enjoy Bellamy's self loathing, I can imagine that it's draining to portray that for a long time.

I agree, April, and I feel like maybe that's why I love season 2 Bellamy so much too. He was a certifiable hero and I loved his Inside Man arc. And weirdly enough, season 3 also afforded Bellamy his own storyline as twisted/dark as it ended up being.

Oh, season 3, as frustrating as it was, was an incredibly compelling storyline to watch. It wasn't fun as a Bellamy fan, but it kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. Season 2, in contrast, was FUN as a Bellamy fan. But season 2 Bellamy is not my favorite Bellamy because he didn't have a storyline until halfway through the season, and when he got one, it was awesome from an action standpoint, but it was less of a deep dive into the nitty-gritty character work.

To be honest, season 4 is just my favorite in so many different areas that it will be hard to ever top that one for me.

I loved action hero Bellamy in season 2 but it's true that it didn't do much for his character development.

I didn't watch season 3 (or at least the first half) live so I never really had that negative connotation with season 3 Bellamy. It's incredibly dark and there are some things that I wish hadn't happened but it helped shape the Bellamy we have today and it made me understand him better as a character, and honestly I love hearing Bob talk about season 3 Bellamy (would love to hear him talk about it more) and his relationship with Pike but ya know....

He's been killing it this season but I'll have to think more ... about which was definitively the best Bellamy season. There's a lot of factors for considerations.

Well, the season finale needs to be really good for me to consider replacing season 4 with season 6 as my fave.

I'm not 100% convinced about season 6 Bellamy being the absolute best yet ... I'm potentially swayed by the BC content.
