I actually really loved Season 5, it's definitely one of my faves, but not sure exactly where I'd place it.
I loved: Everything Bellamy related, Echo, Becho, Diyoza, the Clexa undertones. Also, I was entertained by Octavia immensely, even if I disliked her this season. But mostly I loved it cause it had my favourite Bellamy. __________________

Bellamy had a rollercoaster but overall great season, still. It's mainly the other characters' development that I had an issue with.

For me, I thought Octavia’s arc was very well-written (a tad bit rushed at the end, but still compelling), so it was more so Clarke in 5x10-5x12 and Echo throughout the whole season that I had problems with. And Raven, oddly enough. I couldn’t keep track of her storyline.

Not surprised you had problems with Echo last season I wasn't a huge fan of Raven's storyline either

What was Raven’s storyline? That’s what I’m wondering.
At least Octavia, though infuriating, did have a well-plotted storyline. |

To me, only Bellamy and Octavia had satisfactory arcs (even as unhappy as I was with her arc this season, at least it felt fleshed out) ... poor Raven didn't even get a few decent scenes. SMH, she deserves so much better.

I would agree, Bellamy and Octavia had the best arcs. Octavia's was probably the one they gave the most thought to, but it was just absolutely infuriating as a viewer. Oh, well, though. It evoked discussion and varied emotion from viewers. Bellamy's was really solid, I thought, and the only thing they really dropped the ball on was his relationship with Echo and just kind of plopping that down in viewer's laps. However, other than that, I have no major complaints. Him standing up to Octavia this season, at long last, was so overdue, and was probably one of my favorite aspects of season 5 Bellamy. That and the fact that he was one of the only ones exhibiting much common sense sometimes.

Agreed. I'm SO glad to see him standing up for himself (finally) after years of just taking it.
