Yes, no more (big) disagreements at least. I'm sure that TPTB will find a way to create enough drama for Bellamy as it is. :P

Will be shocked if they don't

i think he'll go for peace bc he's lost so much with war, his sister, his friends,...if you look back, not a lot of male friends for him are left: jasper is dead, monty is dead now, kane is in between!

Man, this show really does like to kill off its male characters, doesn't it? Wells, Finn, Lincoln, Roan, Jasper, Jaha, Monty . . .

Him talking down Madi in the season finale I think was a hint to the type of arc we'll see him go down in S6.
I think so, too.

I also think Kane and Diyoza's conversation about how they'd like to see the world once peace was achieved (the converstion about Schools etc) and Monty's "I hope we do better there" line were also hints about S6.
Man, the guys on this show are actually the ones advocating peace the most, aren't they? At least in season 5. But then you've got a guy like McCreary who's there to **** everything up. :pout:

stlavin95 09-08-2018 04:52 PM

At least we don't have to worry about McCreary next season

April7739 09-08-2018 06:00 PM

I’m sure there will be someone else to fill the role, some other villain.

stlavin95 09-09-2018 05:40 AM

Yeah, true

I think that it's quite balanced though, in terms of the death count. The show kills off a lot of the female characters too.

McCreary was such a pesky and frustrating villian  but it's necessary to create conflict on the show, I suppose.

Me and my mum got to 3x07 on our watch, first time I've watched 3x07 since the first time I ever watched 2 years ago, made me so angry all over again. Mostly at Pike and Bellamy cause their actions led to her death.

This is why I didn't wanna watch again, cause S3A Bellamy has me so conflicted.

So I ask, if Bellamy's actions caused the deaths of your other faves, (Raven, Kane, Clarke, Murphy) how would that make you feel?

He was, plus the actor who played him was pretty good

I guess I never really got the whole “Bellamy’s actions led to her death” thing, but then again, I never had any attachment to her. I mean, technically one could say that Clarke’s and Bellamy’s and even Monty’s choices in Mount Weather eventually led to Jasper’s death, and I loved Jasper. Lexa’s betrayal at Mount Weather almost led to the deaths of many of the Skaikru characters we know and love. All the choices these characters make have ramifications, often things no one could have anticipated or seen coming.

I have to say that I really don’t blame Bellamy for that at all. I blame him for siding with Pike, for taking part in the massacre, for letting Lincoln and Kane be locked up (but not for killing Lincoln), for handcuffing Clarke . . . I have no problem blaming Bellamy for a lot of things in 3A, and same goes for Pike. But ultimately, neither of them killed Lexa. Titus killed Lexa. I guess that’s just the way I see it. But like I said, I do acknowledge that I don’t have attachment to her.

stlavin95 09-10-2018 05:02 AM

I never thought Bellamy played any role in Lexa's death either

destroyer of worlds 09-10-2018 11:08 AM

I'm sorry, but I really don't get how Bellamy had a part in Lexa's death either. :look: As I've said countless times before, he's wholly guilty of siding with Pike and of course contributed to the Grounder deaths directly.

But Lexa chose to side with Clarke and Titus wasn't having it and that was what lead to her death, eventually. If you want to look at repercussions of his actions in 3A, that one is quite a bit of a stretch, just IMO.

stlavin95 09-10-2018 07:02 PM

It's an massive stretch really

April7739 09-10-2018 07:13 PM

There were a lot of contributing factors, but Titus was the one who pulled the trigger, ultimately.

stlavin95 09-10-2018 07:27 PM

Yes he is
