i couldn't tell only one thing which attracted them via versa. i think it was the way both are strong, fierce leaders, doing anything for their people and still having a soft heart being just girls in the end who need true love and find acceptance in that cruel world. and they found love and acceptance in each other.

I think what attracted them to each other was what they really saw behind the war paint or the leader role. As Heda, Lexa is seen as a superior being and not one to make mistakes or apologize for them. However, Lexa makes sure that Clarke knows that she was wrong in saying Clarke was weak. Also saying she doesn't need to apologize...all these moments of respect and adoration - Lexa felt save with Clarke and could tell her anything. Clarke on the other hand felt attracted to Lexa because of the girl she saw behind the mask. A deep loving and caring girl she knew would do anything for her.

Lexa trusted Clarke's opinions and leadership skills and wasn't threatened by Clarke's input. Clarke changed her way of thinking and I think that's what Clarke admires the most about Lexa. That she is able to think rationally and then make the right decisions. Those two are a great fit for each other. Also Even before they were cool, Lexa protected Clarke. Attack her and you attack me. One of their best (underrated) Moments.

and when she betrayed Clarke but you could see how much it killed her. and after that she wasn't afraid to show her emotions and love Clarke with her whole heart. in a time of war and death, she let herself find peace with her true love. same with Clarke the other way around. and then ultimately in the end Lexa didn't let death stop her from saving Clarke in the city of light. i think after everything they've been through, their love just came naturally and made total sense. it was based on mutual respect and adoration.

Everything you guys said. This is how a healthy, functioning couple interact with each other. They might get mad and disagree with each other, but they understand how the other person feels and they stay honest with each other. It is an intimacy that is earned, a skill that is worked on, and I love that Clarke and Lexa had that with each other.

Their relationship was real. They understood each other, were honest with one another. And that is one of the many reasons I still miss Lexa.

I wish that I could see them again.
