I've been to the snow, but it doesn't snow in my town. Gotta go to the mountains for that. California generally has hot summers, but if you live by water you get a bit of breeze. I'm not near any of the bays or ocean, so we don't get that. Our winters are fine, and I mean, you can feel the seasonal differences, but summer is by far our most extreme season.

I love the heat here and usually I can stand it easily but the last several days, the humidity is just awful. I've in LA when it was 39c and I was fine

I went from 18 years of San Francisco Bay breezes in the summer, to living in the middle of the valley where we get no breeze. It's been seven years, and I'm still not used to it.
