we kept the social distancing towards others. when i meet friends i trust them to have no symptoms or if they had, they would tell and stay at home. also i meet friends on open air only, it's safer that way

I was supposed to go to a birthday party in like a week, but it was changed to a "drive thru" party because someone was unwillingly exposed to covid. Boy let me tell you how happy I was to find out it was canceled

i get it. on the one hand you want to meet friends and especially attend birthday parties. on the other hand, well corona...it's still a complicated situation and it won't get better this year i fear.

I'm anyway not a fan of parties or in this case birthday parties, so for me the situation is kinda business as usual in that sense.
I have a needle phobia, I already get scared of a small flu shot, So getting blood sucked out of me from a needle...not really my thing tbh. __________________

I've never been afraid of needles or getting blood tests at the doctor's office, but I've never donated before. It seems like a scary, unknown process. But because I've decided to embrace trying new things, I thought it was about time for me to do something that could benefit other people - and that's how I settled on donating blood.
