There are different after parties at the emmies. But the one alycia and other ftwd cast members attended was the hbo after party and that is invitation only. But they occasionaly auction off some tickets to regular people for some chararity.

I wonder what agreement amc has with hbo so some amc actors got invited to the hbo ater party?
As for the actual emmies it's also very exclusive. Either you are nominated for someting, or you are presenting and award and by that can access or you must be member of one of the televiosn arts academies that organize the emmy awards and then you still have to buy a ticket. __________________
