^ me too but i barely have the time to watch tv shows that's why i focus on movies right now.

talking about movies i saw Ocean's 8 yesterday. it is a good, fun, well acted movie and the fact that male reviewers are giving it rotten reviews just show how women led films have to meet unrealistic expectations to not be considered a failure. the movie isn't rocket science but it was never intended to be, it's just a good time at the movies and it’'s the kind of film men get to make over and over again and nobody hangs the future of male cinema on its sucess or failure. the treatment it's getting is unfair and misogynistic. sorry, rant over.

The only male review I read said that the movie was good and the only slightly disappointing thing was that it could've been more feminist and that they'd have prefered a female driector. But female directors are still the most underrepresented branch in showbiz.

Agreed, Tina. It's ridiculous, there are so many white actors/direcotrs/etc. who've had flop after flop and are still getting opportunities but women and minorities in general have to deliver a perfect performance and get a huge box office success bc otherwise it means nobody wants to watch those movies.

I remember when they first said this was coming out, and all the hurt males out there were like let's tank the film, and how would you feel if they started remaking films with men, and I was like 'oh you mean 99% of films already out'

I watched the Movie and I agree with you there Tina with everything you and the others said. I personally enjoyed it a lot and it was great Women Power!

Watched Love, Simon yesterday, it was so cute. I was spoiled for who Blue was because of the MTV movie awards but it didn't take away from my enjoyment. I had a great audience too, laughing, awwwing.
